Toranj (ترنج)

Flute or violin and piano

A contemporary composition for flute or violin and piano, inviting reflection on memory, human sensitivity and hope.

Toranj by Alberto Rosas is a chamber work conceived as a musical expression of memory, sensitivity and hope. Its inspiration comes from a deeply human reflection on the fragility of existence, the meaning of absence and the inner strength that allows us to look towards the future.

The composition offers a space for contemplation in which music becomes a way of expressing what words can scarcely reach. Remembrance, emotional closeness and hope lie at the heart of its artistic meaning.

This edition allows Toranj to be performed with flute and piano or, alternatively, with violin and piano. Each instrumentation offers its own expressive perspective on the same composition.

Above all, Toranj is an invitation to listen with sensitivity: music that seeks to transform remembrance into expression and open a horizon of serenity and hope.
