Alberto Rosas Llerena – flautist, composer and artistic director

Alberto Rosas Llerena is a flautist, traverso player, composer and educator. Born in Havana, he trained in Cuba and Germany and works professionally in Regensburg.

As founder and artistic director of Earth&Rose, he develops concert programmes that connect music from different periods and cultures with memory, transformation and closeness to the audience.

He has appeared as a soloist with more than twelve professional symphony and chamber orchestras as well as ensembles. His repertoire ranges from the Baroque to the present.
