Concept

Pfeifen und Tanzen presents the flute as one of the most versatile instruments of the Baroque era. Dances from different European regions meet free fantasies, virtuosic variations and moments of quiet intimacy.

The programme makes early music’s closeness to body, language and dance tangible: festive, communicative and varied.
