Symbole – Farben und Formen considers music from the perspective of the visual arts. Flute and piano open spaces that do not need to be translated into words—sometimes clearly outlined, sometimes weightless and mysterious.

Works of the twentieth century and the present enter into a dialogue in which musical forms can be perceived like lines, planes or reflections of light. A concert between sound, image and imagination.
